Sculpting is so different from throwing. It is its own form of art requiring a set of skills completely separate from those needed to work a pottery wheel. But it is certainly just as rewarding and I enjoy sculpting when I take the time to do it. It requires more of a mood, a concentration, an emotional commitment from me. I think it takes more patience, even though, really, the clay is quite forgiving.I hope you take your time viewing this collection. I wish you could reach in and touch, actually.
